Vegetables Farmers in Rorotan Having Lack of Water

The prolonged dry season, making water debit from channel that all this time used for watering vegetables by farmers in Rorotan, Cilincing begins to be receding. 

So now, the result is not quite good. Because, usually it is watered twice-thrice a day, but now it's just twice

Darman, (49), one of the farmers who plant cesim stated that all this time, he and his partners certainly rely on water from the channel to hose down their plants. But due to the receding water debit, makes them have trouble. 

"So now, the result is not quite good. Because, usually it is watered twice-thrice a day, but now it's just twice," he expressed, Thursday (8/27).

Responding on that matter, Head of North Jakarta Marine, Agriculture, and Food Security Sub-Department, Una Rusmana stated her sub-department will check it directly. If it needs, she will help to borrow water vacuum machine. 

"All this time, despite of dry season, the condition could be controlled well. It was just insects matter. And we helped by spraying disinfectant," she finished.
